Quality without Compromise

In the Grimm's family, the fine art of sausage making dates back to the 1930s. It was then that the brothers Henry and Jacob completed their five-year apprenticeship in Hamburg, Germany. It is also during that time they developed the principles and high standards that are still evident in the product today. Combining the best of old European sausage-making methods with the finest new world ingredients, many Grimm's products are gluten and lactose free, and all are made without the addition of byproducts or MSG.

After the first plant was established in Richmond, BC, in 1951, a move to a new, larger facility was necessary in 1975. That move was followed by three expansions at this plant. The proud name and tradition continue today, with a variety of products sold through deli counters and meat departments at stores across western Canada. The product line has expanded to include cheeses, fresh pasta and sauces, sandwiches,  and Mexican foods such as fresh tortillas and wraps.

Grimm's products include meat snacks (pepperoni, jerky, kippered beef), sliced meats for sandwiches or deli trays, main course meats (smokies, European wieners, rings, hams, bacon, and sausage rounds), prepared sandwiches, cheese, deli salads, prepared Mexican foods, and fresh pastas and sauces.
